Meet Our Physical Therapists
Monica Moreland - Monica is the Owner and Clinical Director. She has worked at Moreland Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation since 1998 and has owned the business with her husband Rob since 2003. Monica considers herself a team player and has worked as a physical therapist for 25 years. Wanting to follow in her mother's footsteps of being a nurse, Monica was encouraged by her mother to instead become a physical therapist. Her mom got her a job at age 17 in a rehab center in Las Vegas and they worked side by side while she was going to P.T. school and getting her training. With encouragement from her mom and using her athletic background, she decided physical therapy was the right career for her. She has never regretted her decision and can honestly say she has never experienced "burn-out". Although she has worked in many settings including hospital, worker's comp rehab, skilled care, and home health she considers outpatient rehab as her favorite. Hobbies include running, yoga, soccer and total body fitness. She has her BS in physical therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s College. She began her P.T. career as a 22 year- old. She is also proud to be affiliated with the Spanish Springs Soccer Club and is often found working while on the soccer field.
Angela Moquin - Angela has worked at Moreland Physical Therapy since 2009 after graduation with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado in Denver. Her background as an athlete, coach and researcher all play into her treatment approach. She uses an evidence based plan utilizing a combination of manual techniques in conjunction with corrective exercises and taping to provide the most comprehensive and effective treatment possible. Her goals are to educate and empower the patient to optimize the healing process and be able to continue down that path even after therapy services are complete. She has specialized training in muscle energy, strain counter strain, functional dry needling, amputee gait training, and in the Functional Movement Screen/SFMA. In her spare time she enjoys rowing, sailing, making rock sculptures, cooking and Crossfit.
Larry Moss - Larry considers himself patient and has worked as a physical therapist for 30 years. He has worked for Moreland Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation for seven years. He got his BS from the University of Nevada, Reno and his BS from the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
Geri Inskeep - Geri considers herself patient and loves trivia. Geri’s specialty is her many years of experience working with geriatrics. Her hobbies include gardening, traveling and reading. She has her BS from the University of Nevada, Reno and her BS from the University of Utah.
